DTH Drilling Rig HW910
The HW910 drills blast and anchor holes from 80 to 105 mm, in open-pit mining and on construction sites. It weighs 3,100 kg; the HW910-1 with dry dust collection weighs 3,260 kg.
The machine runs on crawler tracks and works with a down-the-hole hammer. It drills with a rod of 60 mm diameter and 2,000 mm length; for rock of hardness F 8 to 16 the catalogue states roughly 8 to 16 metres per hour. Compared with ordinary rock drill hammers the catalogue claims three to eight times the drilling speed.
Two versions are available. The HW910-1 collects dust dry, the HW910 has no dust collection. The design is kept simple and the overall volume small.
