DTH Drilling Rig HW916
For deeper holes the HW916 uses a 3,000 mm drill rod at a drilling diameter of 90 to 100 mm. The rotary head delivers 2,400 Nm and the machine weighs 4,800 kg.
Running on crawler tracks, the machine sets blast and anchor holes in open-pit and underground mining as well as in construction. The engine delivers 78 kW and drives the rotary head at up to 150 revolutions per minute. For rock of hardness F 8 to 16 the catalogue states roughly 8 to 16 metres per hour.
Feed and lifting force are 15 and 25 kN. Dust collection is available on request. Transport dimensions are 5,700 x 2,100 x 2,600 mm.
