DTH Drilling Rig HW938
Two versions at 191 kW each: the HW938 drills up to 138 mm, the HW938H up to 130 mm. Both collect dust dry, but they weigh 8,860 and 10,000 kg.
Both versions work with a 76 mm rod and an air delivery of 15 m³ per minute at 18 bar. The HW938 produces 2,200 Nm at rotation speeds up to 100 rpm, the HW938H 1,900 Nm at up to 115 rpm. Feed force differs far more: 20 kN against 12 kN.
Lifting force is 16.5 kN on both and gradeability is 25 degrees. For transport the HW938 measures 7,550 x 2,500 x 3,060 mm and the HW938H 9,000 x 2,360 x 3,000 mm.
