Environmental Sampling Rig HQZ180D
Soil samples for environmental investigations, taken without flushing fluid. The crawler rig weighs 4.6 t and takes cores of 25 to 108 mm diameter down to 30 m.
Without flushing fluid nothing can be carried from one layer into the next, so the sample stays clean. Push drilling, percussion drilling and vibration drilling are available for taking the core.
The undercarriage handles 25 degree slopes at 2.5 km/h, with 250 mm of ground clearance underneath. The drive is rated at 42 kW, with rotation speeds between 38 and 80 rpm.
