Tractor-Mounted Air Drill TQZ-200
Mounted on a tractor chassis, this air drill drives itself from one borehole to the next. It works in hard rock and concrete, drills to 200 metres and weighs 3500 kilograms.
Two hydraulic motors drive the rotary head, with infinitely variable speed control. The catalogue states a maximum torque of 3500 to 3800 newton metres at 40 to 60 revolutions per minute. Hole diameters run from 130 to 254 millimetres.
Power comes from a 40 hp diesel engine. Drill rods and single-stroke feed both measure 1.5 metres, and lifting capacity is 12 tonnes. Working air pressure is 1.7 to 2.5 MPa at an air consumption of 17 to 31 cubic metres per minute.
