The catalogue states plainly that the unit runs without electricity, so no mains connection is needed. The body lies horizontally on legs and measures 1036 mm across. Both versions hold 9.8 kg of pellets.

The two differ in output, consumption and depth. KM0501A gives 5 kW and burns 1 kg of pellets per hour at a depth of 231 mm. KM0501B gives 10 kW and burns 2 kg at a depth of 600.7 mm.
