Thermal cycler for PCR
Thermal cycler for the polymerase chain reaction, heated and cooled by Peltier elements. The heating segments are controlled individually, and an additional heater reduces the edge effect.
The individually controlled segments and the additional heater keep the temperature even across the block. Touchdown PCR covers a temperature range of -9.9 °C to +9.9 °C, and long PCR a time range of -9 minutes 59 seconds to +9 minutes 59 seconds.
