Traction Elevator with Steel Belt
A traction lift for houses in which a composite steel belt takes the place of the wire rope. The permanent magnet synchronous machine draws 1.1 kW and runs on 220 volts.
The steel belt carries a polyurethane layer. The factory states two to three times the service life of a wire rope and 10 million bending cycles. By the same statement it needs no lubrication.
The control system is computer based and modular. Counterweight, overspeed governor, buffers and shaft lighting are part of the installation. The factory foresees no oil change.
