LDR delivery bed DHC-II(6001B)
Labour, delivery and recovery happen in one bed. A linear actuator moves the back section, the leg section and the height, and lowered the bed stands low enough for the mother to walk.
The side rails lift one at a time, and the panels are ABS plastic. A central brake with steering holds the bed, and the catalogue calls the running quiet. Control is either from both sides at the rail or from the nurses' station.
The bed is 2320 millimetres long and 990 wide. The footplate lifts 170 millimetres and swings at least 90 degrees upward and outward.
