Mammography System MT-980B
Mammography system with a rotating molybdenum anode and two focal spots, 0.2 and 0.4 mm. At 6.0 kW the anode turns at 2800 rpm and is air cooled.
The anode is made of molybdenum, the exit window of beryllium. Filtration is 0.03 millimetres of molybdenum, and the anode angle is 12 degrees.
Two focal spots are available, 0.2 and 0.4 millimetres. The anode stores 80 kilojoules of heat, equal to 110 kHU, and releases it through air cooling.
