The unit is held in one hand. A 7-inch touch display sits on the outside behind toughened glass, a second screen on the inside. The display rotates through 180 degrees, so left-handed and right-handed users work with it equally well.

Five probes belong to the unit: a 3.5 MHz convex array probe for the abdomen, a 6.5 MHz microconvex probe for small animals, a 6.5 MHz rectal probe, a 7.5 MHz high-frequency linear array probe and a 3.5 MHz backfat probe.
