A black-and-white probe without a cable, sending its image to the display unit by radio. A convex head at 3.5 MHz and a linear head at 7.5 MHz are available.

With no probe cable in the way, the transmitted image can also go to a reader elsewhere. Scanning is electronic, as a convex or linear array.

Depending on the version, 80 or 128 array elements work in the head. Display modes are B and B/M.
