Energy Management System EMS
This energy management system controls and monitors the battery, power section, climate control and fire suppression of a storage installation. Cell voltage is measured to ±5 mV, cell temperature to ±2 °C.
The system works on three levels. The BMU sits at the cell, the CMU at the string, the GPD at system level. Cell voltage, cell temperature, string current and insulation resistance are measured.
If a value drifts, the alarm management reports it, shuts the system down and records the event. Operation runs through a phone app or a web interface. The catalogue lists microgrid, peak shaving, frequency control and PV charging stations as applications.
